Zina is very powerful and correct. Her striking dark palomino color really catches your eye. She has a prominent mischievous streak which she displays at every opportunity. We are very proud of this beautiful animal. Zina still reigns as queen of the herd and bums cookies from anyone who will feed them to her. Zina is a properly spoiled and well loved matriarch who has long paid her way with beautiful offspring and her calming influence. She is now retired but her daughter and grand daughters continue to strongly influence the herd.

2005 Top Ten Breed Leader in Butterfat

Miriam is a long doe with a very nicely attached and shaped udder and correct leg set. She is very smooth and milking nicely. Her udder is EXCEPTIONAL. It is high and tight with a beautiful medial and great capacity. We are delighted with her! She placed 12th at the National show in Spokane . She ranked #3 on the Nubian Top Ten List in 2005 for her 152 pounds of Butterfat. Miriam is living proof that show does can and do milk too. We are very proud of her and pleased that her appraisal scores reflect her true worth. We expect that she will continue to only improve with age.

Miriam has settled and we are eagerly anticipating her return to the milking string and the arrival of her kids.  We will retain one doe.

Ruthie has matured into a very nice and correct doe. Like her mother Rufus she was slow maturing. She is incredibly tall and graceful. She has gained great depth of body as well. We are delighted with her.  Ruth was 17th in her class at Nationals in Spokane.  She is quiet and very easy going. She continues to be a strong and healthy doe who carries her age very well.

Ruth is bred to Micah and is one of 5 does due March 31. We will retain one doe.

Reuel Rufus' Royal Rhesa 2*M 4/4/03

Rhesa is a striking, long, level doe with a delightful personality. She has a lovely udder and is milking very well. She has matured nicely and we finally managed to keep a little weight on her.  She has a large frame and a very long bone pattern. Rhesa was 10th in her class at the Spokane Nationals 2005. Rhesa has 2 grand champion legs.  Her daughters Raya, Jael, Rama, and Rusti are following in her footsteps.

Rhesa is a sound and productive doe. She was dried off early due to a nasty skin rash on her udder. She is bred to Expressway and is due on March 31. She is getting quite large and it looks like her production of large numbers of kids will continue this year as well.  We will retain one doe.

2008 Elite Doe

Samiel’s name means "hot dry wind off the desert" and it certainly fits her as she is an exuberant and playful doe. She is very deep bodied and shows great promise. Sammie freshened again with a very nice udder She has done lot of growing and has matured into a beautiful deep and productive doe that is a real credit to her dam. We are very pleased with her development and are looking forward to seeing what the next few years bring!  She is a steady milker and has a steady and quiet temperament.

Sammie was shown twice this year where she was commended for her very strong Mammary system and her productivity.  Her Produce of Dam placed very well at the National Show. We are very pleased with this strong aged doe and her off spring.

Samiel is bred to our new buck Conner and is due March 21, pregnancy confirmed by Bio-Tracking. We will retain one doe.

SG Zephyr's RY Chinook 10*M 5/2/05

Chinook is a product of a ½ brother ½ sister breeding. We don't do these breedings very often but wanted to see how the resulting kid would turn out and we were delightfully surprised. Chinook is a basic brown doe with exceptionally nice breed character. She shows great promise and is growing well. She is quite eye catching even in her plain brown wrapper.

Chinook has proved to be a steady if not spectacular milker and she continues to be a quiet presence in our herd. We are looking forward to her kidding on February 14 and would very much like a doe out of her and Micah.

SG Reuel Zizah’s JJ Kai 11*M 3/29/05

Kai freshened in 2007 with a spectacular udder and we were thrilled at her prospects for the show season. We took her to her first show as a milker and in her first ring she finished dead last. She was so timid that she tried to hide as she was shown. In the second ring she relaxed a bit and managed to move up from 11th to third. As the season went on she not only grew in stature and maturity she really began to enjoy the show ring and gained confidence and showed well.  She is a very laid back doe that has the very annoying habit of falling asleep while standing up. We are looking forward to having her freshen for us again this spring. She appraised very well and we expect her to continue to do well.

Kai has mellowed as she has gotten older and although she occasionally gets spooked she settles down fast and is very business like in her attitude.  She is a strong and reliable milker who continues to appraise very well. We look forward to her kidding March 16 and think that she is a great match for Conner.  We will retain one doe.

Reuel Zina's JJ Zadee 9*M 2/14/05

Zadee's name means princess and she very definitely thinks that she is a princess. Her arrival was eagerly anticipated as she is a full sister to our beautiful Zephyr. She seems to be following in her sister's foot steps as she is long and level and has beautiful breed character. Her udder is nicely shaped and firmly attached with nice teats and she milks well.  She is a powerful and stunning doe that shows great promise.

Zadee was not appraised this spring, though she did well at the shows.  Her twin doelings are very pretty and show the great strength of their mom.  Zadee made the long trip to the Nationals in good shape and did us proud. She carries the strength and attitude of her beloved mother, Zina. We expect that she will kid April 18 and will draw blood for a pregnancy test soon.  We will retain one doe.

SG Reuel Samiel's EXP Sharik 11* M 3/14/06

Sharik is a promising doe. We are happy at how she is developing. She continues to improve with every passing year. Her rump is leveling out as she ages and her udder remains tightly attached and greatly productive. She is an easy going doe who takes things in stride. We really like the way she adjusts to life around her - weather it involves a long road trip, changes in weather, or just adjustments in the milking string. Nothing seems to bother this productive and strong doe.

She continues to delight us with her development and with her antics. She is a confirmed cookie addict (as is her mother, Samiel) and proud of it. We think that Sharik has just begun to touch her full potential. Sharik is bred to Jesse James and is due March 7.  We will retain one doe.

SOLD!  Reuel Ruth's Royal Rebecca 3*M 4/10/06

Rebecca has grown into a nice young doe. She is very quiet and business like and adores any attention she can get. She never makes a fuss but quietly watches for her turn for petting and treats. We love her temperament and personality. She is a well built and strong doe but wasn't too thrilled with the long ride to and from Nationals.

Rebecca is bred to Micah and is due March 29. We are retaining one of her doe kids and may sell her this spring as we have to reduce our numbers a bit to make room for the up coming yearlings. We really like this doe and expect she will continue to get better as she ages.

SG Reuel Rhesa’s JJ Raya 3*M 4/02/06

Raya is another of our very correct Jesse James daughters. We are thrilled to see her growing up. She is very well grown for her age and freshened with an absolutely beautiful udder. She is long, dairy and very smooth. She is a quietly elegant doe that enjoys the ring and the attention she receives. Raya is developing into the mature doe that we expected her to be. Her udder is beautiful and she is growing in depth of body to go with her extraordinary length. She has come into her own and is a stunning doe with a gleaming black coat.  Just as, if not more, importantly her daughter Belicia is following in her footsteps! We couldn't be more pleased.

Wynne rejoined our herd this summer and we are very glad to have her home. She milks well out of a beautiful udder. She is easy to hand milk and often contributes to the family milk jug. Her milk is exceptionally sweet  and rich.  We have been watching Wynne start to fill out a very large frame. She is very long and has a beautiful rump. I doubt if she will be finished filling out until after she turns 5.  Right now she is in an awkward growth stage and is likely to remain in that situation for quite awhile.

Jael was a basic brown kid with white ears and facial stripes and didn't appear to be remarkable in any way. As she grew and developed we soon noticed that she is exceptionally long and level as is her mom. We brought her out for Appraisal and were very happy to see how she had grown. She is impressively long and smooth and despite her annoyingly short ears we expect that she will grow into a very nice doe and make a wonderful Produce of Dam with her full sister Raya.

Jael is a brown version of her full sister Raya and we are thrilled with her development and love her style. She is quietly mischievous and handles life with a twinkle in her eye. We love her length and beautifully attached udder. She is bred to Sirocco and due March 30. We will be retaining a doe kid for our herd.
