Here we go breaking our rules again! We rarely keep a buck kid that has not been pre ordered but this guy is just too good to put a band on. Zina presented us with this beautiful boy on January 23 at 9:20 PM. Zina stood for the buck back in August and then turned around 21 days later and stood again so we figured she settled on the second breeding and expected her to deliver the first week in February... I guess she had other ideas and just wanted to spend extra time with Press. We arrived home and headed out to the barn to milk when I heard the cry of a newborn kid or a cat...It was a kid, Tyco was still wet but being carefully licked and stimulated by his mom. It was 0 degrees and he was not happy at having been evicted from his nice warm "hot tub". He was quickly scooped up and toted to the milk room to be dried, weighed, ID collared, and fed. The boy weighed in at 8.6 pounds and ate like a healthy new born. Mom and baby are doing fine.
The price on this beautiful buckling is $650 (negotiable). He needs to be put to work this fall.

ORDERING INFORMATION: We request that all kids be picked up at the farm or shipped by 4-6 weeks of age as there seems to be less stress on them at that age. After 6 weeks of age we will have to charge $1.00 per day board until they are picked up or shipped. A $50 deposit is required to hold your kid with the balance due on notification of your kid's birth. All health papers, shipping kennels and shipping are the responsibility of the buyer and are to be paid prior to shipment. Deposits on canceled orders are not refundable but deposits paid on kids that are not born can be refunded or shifted to another available kid. We reserve the right to refuse sale of any kid and to return the deposit or apply it to another kid. All does and pre ordered bucks and wethers are raised on heat treated colostrum and pasteurized milk. We give a discount to herds on milk test, youth in 4-H or for multiple purchases.
