Reuel Rhesa's GI Rama    3/18/08

Rama has not disappointed us this year! She continues to grow nicely and has developed into quite the big yearling.   She really enjoys the show ring and has a real "Look at Me" attitude.  She had a 1st, a 2nd, and a Grand Champion at the fairs in 2008.  She has earned her Dry Leg and so she has remained home in the pasture for this year.  She is big and strong and we are looking forward to having her milk off some of the extra weight.

Rama is bred to Conner and is due March 31.

Reuel Ziva's EXP Poni    4/10/08

Poni's name means second daughter and indeed she was. Ziva had two very pretty and very flashy black and white kids. It was a tough choice but we chose Poni because she was a little wider than her sister. Her sister Poppy is doing fine at the home of one of our 4H ers.

Poni is a striking kid and knows it. She is ever eager for attention and has a commanding presence in the ring. She has grown well and is bred to Sirocco.  She is due March 21.

Reuel Tapestry's SIR Taffeta   4/29/08

Taffeta has been growing up very nicely and when I was looking for another Dry Yearling  for the show ring I settled on her.  When I clipped Taffeta down we found a very correct and smooth kid under all the hair.  She is a personable youngster who gets along very well with everyone, humans and goats alike.  She is exceptionally well blended throughout and much nicer than her picture shows.

Taffeta is bred to Conner and due March 16.

Reuel Sukey's MIC Lucy   5/4/08

Lucy has spent her summer roaming the pasture with the other dry yearlings and growing steadily.  She has grown and smoothed out and is starting to show some of the promise of her breeding. Lucy is still the red headed clown we know and love and is holding her own with the big girls.

Lucy is bred to Conner and is due February 5.

Reuel Miriam's EXP Mei  5/25/08

Mei's name means "Great or Beautiful Flower" and we hope that she fulfills that promise.  She arrived as the last of our kids in 2008 and promptly took her  place with the older and bigger kids.  Mei is growing up fast and is hanging out with her friend Lucy in the milker pen.  She is quite the imp and enjoys teasing some of the older does with her antics.

Mei is our first doe due to kid this spring and is bred to Sirocco due February 3.

Reuel Kai's Sir Kaela   3/8/09

Kaela caused quite a stir when she arrived as she is a distinctive color that I have never seen before. She quickly took her place as eldest sister and continues to be a leader among the kids. She is strikingly long bodied with a beautiful head and long ears. She is very dairy and we expect that she will be a credit to her mom as she matures.

Kaela is growing fast and is bred to Micah.  She is due April 27.

Reuel Ziva's MIC Oralee   3/11/09

Oralee arrived at 4:00 AM at 10 below zero.  She and her sister and brother were whisked off to the milk room immediately on arrival and bundled up in a basket. Mom did great and didn't suffer any ill effects from having frozen birthing slime attached to her hair for a short time.

This fall when putting together our show string for fairs we took a long look at Oralee and liked what we saw. She is a very well grown, very long and smooth kid with a swanlike neck. We are expecting great things from her

Oralee has been growing very well and is the largest kid in the pen. She has deepened and gained width throughout. She is bred to Sirocco and is due April 11.

Vita is a tall and dairy kid with a lot of promise. She is growing nicely and was easily be large enough to be bred this season.  We expect that she will continue to grow and develop through the coming months. She has great length of bone and has developed good depth of body in the months since her picture was taken.

Vita is bred to Micah and is due April 25.

Reuel Ruth's MP Rosette    3/22/09

Rosette arrived this spring much to the delight of our friend Robin who comes almost every spring to help deliver babies. Rosette immediately bonded with Robin and was properly spoiled. She is growing nicely and seems the enjoy the show scene and all the extra attention that it brings to her. She has great depth of body and spring of rib. Rosette is showing the promise that has been the norm with all of our Masterpiece babies.

She is bred to Sirocco and is due on May 2.

Reuel Samiel's MIC Brisa    4/7/09

Brisa arrived with her siblings in the evening and they were quickly cared for and tucked in for the night. Samiel had a tough birth with some sorting needed to get the triplets born. Brisa is a bit different than her brother and sister in body style but has a very wide open escutcheon and excellent spring of rib.  She is a little small at this stage but is a very nice open and dairy doe.

We have decided to hold her over until next year for breeding.

Reuel Rhesa's MIC Rusti    4/11/09

Rusti arrived in the middle of a pack of 3 brothers. She is a nice tall and angular doe with Rhesa's trademark flat rump and level top line. We are very happy at the way she is growing and expect that she will joining her sisters in making a big mark on our herd.  She is quite the people goat and is constantly making her presence known and demanding more than her share of attention.

Rusti made a pest of herself at the fairs this year and continues to demand attention and cookies. She is a favorite in the barn both for her conformation and her personality. We are eagerly awaiting her kidding and expect good things from her. She is bred to Conner and is due May 10.

Miku is another very tall and dairy doeling with a very long neck. She is growing fast and seems to change appearances daily.  She is much more dairy than her mom and still has good width through out. We are very pleased with her growth and development and look forward to her freshening

Karimiku is bred to Conner and is due May 9

Reuel Zadee's MIC Zahavah   4/16/09

Zahavah and her sister arrived at 6:45AM without fanfare or problems. Both kids were vigorous and hungry from birth.  Zahavah is growing fast now and has a hard time figuring out what to do with her feet, back, and long legs. She shows great promise and we are confident that she will develop into a more dairy copy of her mother.   She has good width and levelness in the rump. She is growing more balanced by the day and we are excited to see how she matures.

She is bred to Conner and is due May 13.

Reuel Raya's EXP Alveena    4/24/09

Alveena and her brother and sister came into the world in the middle of a sunny nice day. They got right to work on standing and eating and quickly downed their allotment of colostrum and got right on the lambar.  Alveena is growing fast and is a very long bodied doe. She has a very correct leg set both front and rear and has a great head.  She has easily made weight for breeding and is looking very promising

Alveena is bred to Sirocco and is due May 14.

Reuel Rebecca's MIC Nika   5/24/09

Nika is a striking blue roan doe who stands out in the crowd.  She has a beautiful level and strong top line.  We will hold her over as a dry yearling although she has made weight for breeding. This is going to be a nice doe and we are looking forward to watching her mature. She has a beautiful ring presence and seems to enjoy showing and all the attention she can get.

Reuel Meka's SIR Tevy   6/28/09

Tevy had a tough start in life. Her mom had a tumor the size of a loaf of bread in her uterus. Every contraction lifted the tumor up and blocked the cervix. After watching the labor for awhile we intervened and delivered quads. Two were born dead, one buck survived and Tevy.  Tevy was a little thing but more than made up for her size with spunk. She continues to grow and isn't intimidated by much of anything.   Tevy seems to think that fairs and shows were invented just for her entertainment. She is thriving.  We will hold her over as a dry yearling.
